Laptop memory is always known to be quite restricted in terms of its capacity. Laptop memory can be designated by memory type and the clock rating associated with it. Usually you get two slots for laptop memory modules unlike a PC which has four slots.

Adding laptop memory to your machine is quite a simple process. First of all, you need to have all the tools, turn off your computer, unplug and remove your battery. Following that open up your computer and put the new memory in. Then put everything exactly in the order it was earlier, reattach battery and turn your computer on and Voila - you have a much more powerful machine.
