Everybody needs a break !

Planning family holidays is not difficult to do, but it does need to be planned carefully. First you need to decide what kind of holiday you want. Do you want to do a lot of sight seeing and learn about cultures or do you just want to relax at the beach and read a good book? I chose for the latter.

Life has been very stressful lately so I decided I want a short relaxing vacation. We are going away for the weekend to unwind and relax in a small island in Indonesia called Batam.

Anyway back to you, after you have decided what kind of holiday you want, the next step is to find the hotel that would provide you with your wants in this trip. There are lots of websites that offer the best prices on hotels, so make sure to check several of them and check for reviews as well of people who have stayed there before, look at the negative comments. We all know that hotels would always say that their hotel is fantastic but if there's one guest there that didn't like something from either their service or room, and actually said something about it then we know it's true.

Now all that is left is packing the right clothes. Weather is very unpredictable so make sure you are always ready. Our trip is on Saturday and the weather is expected to be mostly cloudy but there is an always a slight chance of rain so I will be packing a thin sweater in case it gets a bit chilly.

I have beeen researching for this trip for the longest time – it always got postponed due to work or other family matters. It’s finally going to happen, Yehey!!
