When I get pregnant, I would like to have a record of everything that I will be going through. I will jot it all down in a pregnancy calendar . From what I read; every week, there’s new development so I think it would be invaluable to track my baby’s development.

One type of pregnancy calendar is the ovulation calendar but if you have an irregular period like me, it wouldn’t be that useful. Ovulation calendar is used to track which days you are most fertile.

Pregnancy calendars on the other hand is used when you have successfully conceived. You can use it to make notes and document milestones during your pregnancy. Some ready made pregnancy calendars have information on what you should expect at that time. Your pregnancy calendar might need to be adjusted several times depending on the development and growth of your baby.

Make sure you consult your doctor immediately to get answers to your questions or bring your concerns to his or her attention. Never use it as a replacement for proper health care. For example, if the calendar states that you should be feeling movement and activity from your baby and you do not, then get in touch with your doctor to let them know. They may schedule an ultrasound to check the baby's health or simply adjust the due date which will alter your calendar.

Barnes and Noble has some pregnancy journals where you write a little something each day and every week you mark down what you're craving and stuff like that.
